<div style="text-align: justify;">
I haven't written my blog since Budapest and well.... Budapest was a long time ago... Haha, woops. I must admit that since then there has been quite a lot happening in my life lately. I'v went on an awesome field trip to Loire Valley, had a middle school prom (Turns out it was as cheesy as it sounds! A night in Paris.... how original. It was fun though!), lived through exams, <i>passed</i> my exams and had to wave goodbye to some dear friends of mine. For some reason I'm feeling quite sad while writing this post. Maybe it's because I'v been watching tons of chick flicks these couple of days or maybe it's because I have to take geometry courses every morning for three weeks (something to do with SAT's.... I actually have no idea what I'm doing there...), but I think the main reasons is that everything is changing. I'm getting closer and closer to my final graduation and the more I advance, the more I'm scared. Everything seems to be changing, life is getting more difficult, the summer doesn't <i>feel</i> like summer anymore (maybe it's because of the lack of good weather or the fact I'm still going to school every morning) and I see my parents aging behind me. I know it's a depressing thing to say and that I'm not usually the person to talk about these things, but I'm scared for my parents and how much time I have left with them. They still have a long life before them, but time has been moving so quickly that it feels like yesterday that I was only at my mother's shoulder height. I just feel like I haven't had enough time to appreciate them fully. Why do teenagers experience horrible mood swings? They. suck.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But yeah, enough of that. I guess I just miss being a little girl which only worries about her scratched knees and weather father Christmas will arrive at midnight. Things change and change is good. So let's change subject.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Another thing that has been going on is my drawing. I've been drawing so much these past few months that I actually <i>see</i> a difference in my drawings! I've been using it as an effective way of procrastination during exam period and that really gave me a boost in my skill (biology on the other hand was a different story...). I've been watching a lot of animated movies and inspired myself with different techniques and characters and a bunch of other stuff. I found out that I usually prefer imagining my own characters instead of doing fanart, though I do enjoy it a lot when I'm fangirling over something *cough*<i>Jack Frost</i>*cough*. But there, you probably won't recognize any of these characters since I don't even know what they were before I finished them! Just let your mind create the back story, it's more fun that way! </div>

Hopefully you appreciated this post and that I didn't bring your mood down too much. I didn't mean it, it kinda came out unexpectedly.... I'll be posting more now that it's the summer. Soon I'm going to see my friend in America and there will be a ton of new stuff to talk about then! (I'll try to post a few more times before then!) I hope you're all enjoying your summer and that the weather hasn't been as bad as it has for me.... though apparently it's not (Except if you life in somewhere exotic and cool. I'm jealous of you if that's the case. Rain has been driving me crazy!)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Maybe before I leave I can leave you with a list of chick flicks I'v been watching so you know what I am experiencing ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<ul>
<li>The Notebook (OMG I LOVE IT)</li>
<li>10 thing I hate about you</li>
<li>Dear John</li>
<li>Legally Blonde</li>
<li>Water for Elephants</li>
<li>The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants 2 (couldn't find the first one :( )</li>
<li>The Vow (LOVE THIS ONE TOO)</li>
<li>One day</li>
</ul>
<div>
and not to mention a bunch of animated movies :) I also recently watched Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio which was worth watching! But that was about a month ago so I didn't count it in. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And finally, book-wise I'm reading the Clockwork Angel in the infernal devices series which is really good! I would say the author but I am too lazy to go check so you're gonna have to Google it! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I think I already said bye but if I haven't, bye!!</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">So to start off with I went to Budapest last Thursday (or the Thursday before that... well, the 18th to make it all clear) and it was... well...</span><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
TOTALLY . FREAKING . AWESOME</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was my first time visiting Budapest or just Hungary in general and it is just.amazing. I went on tour there with my band (well, my teacher's band really... I'm just part of the band) and it was just.amazing.again. We stayed there three nights and played in three locations. The first was at a retirement home that was very welcoming except that we didn't sound so good... The room was weird and kinda scooped up all the sounds that our band made making it sound blank and iffy... To add to that, most of the audience seem to have forgotten how to smile and/or applause. Now, I love old people, but when you are playing a solo and there is literally not a single person smiling or that looks like they're somewhat enjoying themselves, you feel like your going to choke on your own breath and fall into a dark hole that magically appeared under your feet and no one would care. Sorry for the long sentence... But it's true. And terrifying... But mostly true. Another problem was that we couldn't play too loud because otherwise they would lose the little hearing they had left. But other from all that, it was a very enjoyable experience! Also on that day we were supposed to eat some traditional food at the market (it has a very complicated name and I can't remember it but I think it sounded a bit like pRUndaVicatIOna. What is my life... ) but there was an accident on the road that made us really late which therefore meant we had to buy food at TESCO. Yes, for all British people, they have TESCO in Budapest. Random. The worst part though was that we had to buy/eat it all in ten minutes because the bus driver didn't want us to eat on the bus. I had a bit of a stomach ache after that... And to conclude this first day, we went on a very lovely cruise down the Danube. It was very enjoyable. Yes, very. Just fyi, two of my friends got holes in their trousers from sitting on a nail. That was probably the most enjoyable part of the cruise!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ieznQktHA3U/UXropL6UuVI/AAAAAAAAAnI/js45NsqBgCk/s1600/IMG_0133.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ieznQktHA3U/UXropL6UuVI/AAAAAAAAAnI/js45NsqBgCk/s200/IMG_0133.JPG" width="200" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--jj2idysCto/UXrootZ5LjI/AAAAAAAAAnA/TwsTgWuxexw/s1600/IMG_0099.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--jj2idysCto/UXrootZ5LjI/AAAAAAAAAnA/TwsTgWuxexw/s200/IMG_0099.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
(Don't judge me as a creeper who takes pictures of people's butts, they wanted me to take a picture so that they could see how the hole was. There. End of story.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
BUT LET'S MOVE ON CAUSE THIS IS GETTING VERY LONG....</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, the next day we did some sight seeing in the center of Budapest (I am so sorry but I can't remember if it was Buda or Pest... Our tour guide was not the most entertaining or interesting so I ended up paying more attention to a pigeon eating crumbs than her talking about... I don't know what.) in the mourning and then we got 5 HOURS (Yes I really just typed 5 HOURS) of free time!!! I felt so independent.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Me feeling independent</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We had the choice between going to the baths or just walking around town and we decided to just hangout in town. I know that baths are apparently INCREDIBLE and blah blah blah but I forgot my swimsuit at the hotel... aaaaaaaaaand I wanted to hang out with my friends. So, as a group we decided that we try some nice traditional food because the day before we had to live with chips and dry bread. During that process something somehow went wrong and we ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe. Is there a law of physics that can explain this gravitational pull towards this ridiculously expensive restaurant? We all shared some nachos as a starter and then I took a salad of which I cannot remember the name.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Nachos are Yum</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I do remember there was avocado and chicken in it though... I also remember that after a few bites my fanta didn't taste sweet anymore. That made a me a little worried. Another worrying thing was that I only ate about an eighth of the plate before I was full... AND IT WAS A SALAD?!?!? I felt so bad when the waitress took back our plates, all of my friends had finished their meals. All of that independence and maturity I felt a while back? Not there anymore. We also all shared a cheesecake with caramel on top. My friend Liam asked if the waitress could cut it into four so we could share. Thankfully I had some sense in my brain to ask for four spoons instead. Good job Liam, good job.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Next stop we did something very Hungarian, caricatures! I know right!?! <i>So</i> Hungarian. But it was fun! Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it yet so you'll have to wait a while. After that we went to this reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally cool fountain that was a square and would stop when you went near it. It was so awesome. My friends Poppy and Liam got soaked though, they purposely ran/jumped (90% of the time they jumped <i>through</i> the fountain but we didn't tell them that...) across and they were dripping wet for the rest of the day. Here is a video of me defying the water:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Soon I will become like this</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_llidwxJZGY1qjyxcwo1_400.gif" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
From that point on we'd decided to go visit something interesting, and we did! Starbucks! (Why did I even <i>bother</i> coming to this country?!?!) BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! We ended up going there because I needed the bathroom and to get to the bathroom you need to buy something to get the code for the bathroom. Complicated, I know. But since we had to buy something three of us ordered drinks and the other got a snack (my friend Thomas if you must know). We had a bit of fun when ordering because we renamed ourselves on the cups (I know everyone does but c'mon, this thing never gets old). I called myself Feta (like feta cheese but the cheese part would have been too long), Poppy named herself Opium and Liam named himself G-Dragon. Thomas said that if he had named himself he would have been called Merlin, which is awesome.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We lingered in Starbucks for a really long time spending it by taking pictures with the timer on my camera. We had soooooooo much fun but the WHOLE time there was this woman just staring at us like a bunch of bafoons (we did look a bit crazy, I must admit BUT STILL! HOW RUDE!)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After Starbucks we didn't have any time left so we joined our group and headed of to the Conservatory of Musicology or something like that... We ended playing in the room where Bartok HIMSELF composed and played all his songs. One of our players actually played on HIS PIANO for one of the songs in the concert (I'm proud to say that I did touch the piano and it was just.amazing.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This is Bartok</td></tr>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
We played SO WELL in that concert I was so proud! It was our biggest gig and the acoustics were INCREDIBLE! It was actually kind of emotional :')</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
BUT THE NEXT DAY</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We went to a castle and they organised a medieval tournament for us which was E.P.I.C. Literally incredible. The actors were amazingly talented and hilarious! (here's a video)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwqikW5BQjX9n9ejmZiBKdTiKmWG5kSBR42TJ-SK6JGNUyOVbw4IoBv-ZHIHu-pcDrxtR12IZ0rtxFWlrw1JA' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then there was me...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wmE5ZyKQPG0/UXvA2ci1raI/AAAAAAAAAn4/75dJjUmjTVU/s1600/Slide1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wmE5ZyKQPG0/UXvA2ci1raI/AAAAAAAAAn4/75dJjUmjTVU/s320/Slide1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know. I'm so talented.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
BTW the king is my PE teacher Coach V (Since then called King V) and the one on the torture chair is a guy called Izzet in our band who plays trombone. Later that day we had a concert in the castle which was just. amazing. Really, we played outside in this courtyard where our music could be heard through the <i>whole</i> village! It was also a lot of fun because we didn't have to wear concert clothes and it was just a nice laid back concert. The only problems were that it was like thirty degrees Celsius and the wind kept on blowing our music off our stands! After that concert EVERYBODY was sun-burnt except for me. I don't tan (never have and probably never will at the rate it's going) which really sucks. To be honest I wanted to get a little burnt so that I could show off to my friends about how nice the weather was :3 But that obviously didn't happen.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Later that day some professional musicians and dancers came to our hotel and put up a performance just for our band. I think it was probably one of the highlights of the trip because that evening everybody felt like family. The musicians (two violinists, one viola and a base) played traditional folkloric music which was just. amazing. The lead violinist played so fast his fingers were a blur to the naked eye. He also mimicked bird chants on his violin which was epicly cool and impressive. The dancers (two men, two women) danced to their music and they were almost as incredible as the musicians. They have this weird dance were they're always jumping around and hitting their boots making a sort of rhythm to the music. They also started to sing along with the music in certain songs. At one point only the female dancers were dancing and they were both balancing bottles of juice on their heads. Even physicians wouldn't be able to explain how those bottles stayed put during all that dancing! Finally at the very end they invited people from our band to dance with them in a circle. This was THE MOST HILARIOUS thing I had ever seen! All of these people that I knew dancing a dance which looks quite ridiculous MADE MY DAY! (or the rest of it since it was evening) Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't take any pictures or videos :( I seriously regret not bringing it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
FINALLY on the last day we went to visit the small island in the middle of the Danube. We had about two or three hours of free time to visit as much as possible and eat a decent meal before our plane ride. We all decided to go visit the labyrinth and that was a very big mistake. Obviously the moment we got it everybody decided to split up so that it was impossible to find the rest of our group. I managed to get out alive with my friends Thomas, Daniel and Freidi (who was originally in a different group) perplexed on where the others could be. We tried to call the rest of our group but the labyrinth is underground so there was no signal.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img height="111" src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mds90bRVWJ1qkdh3oo1_500.gif" width="200" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
We decided to abandon them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
MOVING ON, we met up with our friend Poppy because she didn't want to go into the maze of death and desperation - which was intelligent of her - and we all went for lunch in a nearby restaurant. I remember that Thomas and I took chicken paprikash with dumplings. I also remember Thomas asking where the dumplings were when they actually turned out to be a sort of mix between pasta and rice. We both looked like complete idiots.</div>

<br /><div style="text-align: justify;">
They didn't taste bad though. They were actually really good! (pat on the back for me for not being a <i>complete</i> fail) After all that drama it was time to leave (we almost missed the bus because we had to go to the bathroom) and fly off on our plane. Which was half enjoyable because I don't like planes but I did like chatting with some friends. To end this post, here is the last picture taken on the trip.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have just had the most horrible revelation of all time. I HAVE NOT ONCE DRAWN PERCY JACKSON! *<i>weez, weez</i>* How could I. I am a disgrace to society T<u> </u>T and my friends. Because they love Percy Jackson too. I am so devastated. Especially since the second movie is coming soon! (Not that the first one was very good to be honest. By not good I mean it wasn't the same story as the book AT ALL. But if we don't follow the guidelines of the book then yes, it was a good movie). So yeah; here's my creation to say sorry for this whole misunderstanding. Because now it's a misunderstanding. Not my fault. Just a mistake. Blame it on Rick. He's the one who wrote the books. I like ice cream.</div>

So yesterday.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yesterday I found out about something INCREDIBLY EPICLY AWESOME. This awesomeness is called Steampunk. Steampunk is a sort of cross between Victorian/old fashioned clothing and mechanical gadgets and gears. So, since I am a fan of old fashioned dresses and clothing, and I particularly like fantasy twists to things, (if that makes sense...) I obviously fell in love the second I found out about it. Literally. Love at first sight. No kidding. But what is Steampunk? Well here's the definition given from Google:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
So after all this excitement that has lingered inside me for a few hours, I am now on a new phase (<i>way</i> too many phases <i>way</i> too quickly. But what can you do?) called ... drum-roll please ... Steampunk! (I know, what a surprise right?) I already drew a picture for it :3 I think I have some kind of disease or something... But anyway, I also want to add that I really, really, really, really, <i>really</i> want to make a costume someday. Probably over the summer since right now I'm a little overbooked with school... I hope it won't turn out to be one of those projects that ill just disappear after a few months and that I will never end up doing... I also really want to go to a Cosplay event in it. TOO MANY PLANS. I hate being lazy. But here is my creation:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-re_oUEQWfZ8/UV2M5mRdVWI/AAAAAAAAAmY/vWaR61sPadI/s1600/steampunk.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-re_oUEQWfZ8/UV2M5mRdVWI/AAAAAAAAAmY/vWaR61sPadI/s400/steampunk.jpg" width="341" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I decided to make a middle class adventurer with not too many gadgets at hand. I decided to go simple at the beginning so that I can get the hang of all of this. I am, though, SUPER proud of this one because of all the tiny details I included and of the shading. I think this is my favorite one so far. I am so proud of myself. Sorry for being so self centered and all but I think I deserve a pat on the back or something. The only thing that I'm not so proud of are the hands. But I've never been good at hands so I'm not too worried. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Voila. You have just witnessed the start of my Steampunk phase. Good luck. You'll be needing it! But as a side note; if any of you have become interested in this (like me) and want to know more. I have been on this website for at least three hours straight just looking at all the stuff they had. It is literally a.m.a.z.i.n.g. I love it and I hope you'll love it too! Click <a href="http://www.clockworkcouture.com/" target="_blank">here</a> to be transported to the website. But please, if any of you love this as much as I do, or more, or less, or whatever, please leave a comment so we can fangirl about it together! or fanboy about it if you're a boy... if that exists... And one last thing, if any of you have drawn or made anything related to this, post a picture! I want to see what creations you have made!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I think that you may say that I have switched from my Harry Potter phase to a Jack Frost phase. I only watched the movie yesterday and I already drew Jack Frost :3 I'm SUPER proud of it because I think I got his expression just right! The only thing I regret a little is that the shading is a little over top... but who cares! I still love it! (and him!) </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today I FINALLY got to see "Rise of the Guardians" by DreamWorks and I LOVE IT!! I was almost about to cry when Sandy died and I laughed so hard when The Easter Bunny was talking about his skill of Thai Chi! I fell in love with Jack Frost's good looks and personality and I melted at how adorable baby tooth is! I recommend this movie to all of those who like to dream and wonder because this movie is just that! I'm pretty sure that some of you are going "How old is she? In her teens? That's too old to appreciate a cartoon!" but </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I. DON'T. CARE. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love DreamWorks so much because they still make me dream! They teach me something new every time and I fall in love with all their characters! I feel like a small child again exploring the innocent wonders of the world and the small details of what we might call "ordinary". These movies show us more than finding love at first sight on a handsome prince! The viewer can tell that these movies were made with care and affection. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, after having digested my fangirling over Jack Frost and DreamWorks, I think you have guessed that there might be some drawings of them coming up. Not yet because I only finished the movie about ten minuets ago, but yeah, that will definitely be coming up. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Also, I have a new drawing for you, well, sketch. I was getting so frustrated with all my other drawings that I decided to make something simple and funny. More of these may come up because they are <i>way</i> less effort than doing a full on drawing, and because of this, there will be more drawings sooner. In this sketch I decided to draw James though it wasn't originally supposed to be him. He was just supposed to be a random guy but, I felt like he needed a deeper personality. So I added glasses. And he became James Potter. Just by magic.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kGGKwPoK-w8/UVcJhoo9J6I/AAAAAAAAAlg/AGTKkinnk3I/s1600/james.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kGGKwPoK-w8/UVcJhoo9J6I/AAAAAAAAAlg/AGTKkinnk3I/s400/james.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also thought he would look cute with a plaster across his nose :3 Detail makes all the difference.... ! Right...?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And one last note; There are new backgrounds on the <a href="http://natsdaydream.blogspot.be/p/freebies.html" target="_blank">Freebies</a> page! Sorry for any technical difficulties in the past but now they're all fixed! I just need to put up the instructions again so if you need aid, please leave a comment! Thanks!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
P.S: I think the moon told me that Jack Frost and I should be together! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
P.S.S: If you're all confused about this "Rise of the Guardians" thing, here's the trailer. I'm ready to bet all my Easter eggs that you'll love it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And here's my favorite part of the movie:</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm sure that all of you have at least one or twice felt like your toes or fingers were going to fall off from the cold. Well, multiply that by ten over a time period of approximately two days. Painful. Very <em>very</em> painful. Over the last weekend I went on an International Award hike (here's something that might help you if you don't know what it is: click <a href="http://www.google.com/" target="_blank">here</a>). It was so much fun and a great experience except that my fingers felt as if they could be snapped off if you bent them too much. Now, before you go thinking "But why didn't you bring gloves?" I did. I brought a pair of ski gloves which were nice and war, except for the fact that I brought two left hands. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Biggest face palm man kind has ever or will ever encounter*</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Luckily I was not the only form of stupidity on the campsite that day; my friend Athena made exactly the same problem except with right hands so we switched gloves. The next problem was that her gloves were not really fit for camping. They were really nice and everything (I know that Athena will be reading this so I can't say any monstrosities on her gloves) but they were everything <em>but</em> warm. Also, I'm right handed so I had to constantly take my glove off to clip things in, zip things up (By the way, there are probably a thousand zips and clips on one camping bag, no kidding! My hands were somehow shedding tears by the end of and hour) or use it for cooking and other chores. So, even if the glove <em>was</em> warm, it never came to any use because I was taking it on and off every few minuets and/or seconds. This all resulted in my hand growing double its size. Literally. My nice, thin, elegant hands turned into a plate of egg and sausages. So, not only could I not use my fingers at the end of the day, but they wouldn't fit into my glove properly. I would have to ask my friend Jiwon to zip up my coat or even squeeze me fat fingers into my glove. I felt utterly useless by the end of the day which is not a nice feeling. I think I'v been scarred for life because every time my fingers feel cold, in my head I'm thinking "NO! It's comming back to get me and kill me alive! There is no escape! Run for your lives fingers! Run for your lives!"</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You want to know what I blame this on? I blame this all on the earth thinking it's OK to snow in the middle of March! I understand that snow if fun and pretty and pure, (at the beginning, not when it's melting) but right now I think that most of us humans agree that WE NEED SPRING TO ARRIVE! (My fingers are nodding their heads right now... if they have heads... I don't know...) I need to feel the warmth from the sunshine and the buds starting to sprout. I know that I will regret this later but I even want the flies to come back and do their annoying buzzing sounds! And I want the mosquito's to kill my skin with itchy red spots! I WANT SPRING! I'm sick of all this snow and cold wind and everything else that starts with a c and rhymes with -old.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So after all this complaining I think it's time to put an end to this post. I'm sure that most of you have the same opinion as me regarding the cold, but if we all unite as one WE CAN DEFEAT IT! AS A TEAM, AND AS A FAMILY! OK, too far, but still, I think we could defeat it... somehow. Let me brainstorm on that...</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, I woke up 40 minutes earlier this mourning (6:45 if you want me to be precise) because I heard my Dad walking down the stairs, I got dressed and went down to breakfast 20 minutes earlier just to be told "<i>You have no school today... again</i>". So here I am writing this post at 9:15 in the mourning starting to feel tired already when I could have slept in for the second day in a row. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Life is so unfair. I was so proud of myself for waking up so early and now... bleh. But the good news is that IT'S A SNOW DAY BABY! and TWICE IN A ROW! I guess it's a way of saying sorry for waking me up so early. I don't know <i>who</i> or <i>what</i> is saying sorry, but yeah, something is. Who said that life was unfair huh? Huh? (Totally not me, I mean, pfff, I totally didn't write that two sentences ago, no way!) The surprising thing though is that it didn't even snow over night... I guess the roads were still too icy for anyone to go anywhere. Anyway, I might be posting a lot today... out of boredom or just 'cause I like posting stuff :3 I also might <i>not </i>post anything today because of my very developed talent of not doing anything when I have the chance to. Like my homework. Had all of yesterday to do it and I only did an hour of it at seven in the evening. It's hard being a teenager. All teenagers will understand, anybody who's not a teenager forgot or hasn't experienced it yet. We're a sort of outcast to society... Miss understood, asked to act like adults but treated like children. Somebody should write a book about that... Anybody who would like to use this idea, go ahead and take it. I will probably only get to the third page of the book and give up writing the rest. Do tell me when it comes out though so I can check it out ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, I'm halfway through a drawing right now so that will be posted in the near future. I think drawing is the only thing I don't get lazy at... I always seem to be excited to draw... hm. Maybe that's what makes it my passion... I'm also hesitating on posting some pictures of some dresses I bought yesterday... hm. I don't want this to become a fashion blog though... I want it to be multi-gender and I'm not really into fashion... I like dressing nice but it hasn't become a hobby of mine just yet! But I really like the dresses and I want to show them to the world... hm. See, this is a perfect example of what teenagers go through on a day to day basis! Proof of how difficult it is to be a teen along with some more important stuff too. Like exams. Only teens have to go through them. Yeah, see how unfair it is! Told you. I feel like this post is longer than it should be :/ I'm gonna stop writing it. It's too long and I know the majority of you won't read most of it but you will never know BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's March and there's 10 cm of snow outside! What is wrong with you world?? Though, I don't mind it so much 'cause it was a snow day! Woop! Woop! Looooooooooooooove snow days!! We also had a mini blizzard in our garden because our house is stuck between two other houses. This meant that the snow kept spiraling 'round and around and around and it made the ground really uneven. But it was cool! Here's the video. You can't see it very well but hey! It's better than nothing!</div>

</div>
Hey guys! So coming up in my life is the middle school prom (I bet most of you who are older than me are going "Laaaaame. High school prom is <i>sooooo</i> much better!" and all others who are younger or the same age as me are going "OMGOMGOMGOMG! This is <i>so</i> exciting!!") and - I think that I'm speaking for all girls here - the dress might me one of the most exciting parts of the whole event. Now personally, I am a bit of a tomboy which means that it is literally THE HARDEST THING to find... EVER. I really really really want to wear a dress (because I am not a <i>complete</i> tomboy, you might say I'm a hybrid...) but I haven't liked ANY dresses I've seen so far! All of my friends have theirs and I'm in my corner rocking myself back and forth thinking <i>If I don't get a move on, I'm going to be going to Prom in a dirty sweater and jeans! </i>This thought terrifies me. Not really, but it makes it sound more dramatic... Anyway, so I talked to my mom the other day about this HUGE crisis that's happening in my life right now (because finding a dress for prom is <i>way</i> more important than exams. Totally.) and she suggested making my own. This might sound quite expensive or whatnot but according to my mom, it would be cheaper than buying a dress (in Europe, everything is ridiculously expensive. <i>Especially</i> clothes) and it would be the perfect size. It would be completely unique (none of that awkwardness when somebody has the same dress as you), there would be nothing that I don't like about it (because I designed it myself) and I can choose the fabric so that it will be nice and comfortable! So here are the designs I drew, they're different colors because I don't know which one to pick... The girl I drew looks like me (with slightly redder hair because I like red heads :3 ) so please leave a comment on what you think about it and which color you prefer... Can't make up my mind!!!!</div>

So, here are 2 announcements:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1. About two days ago I made a really cool background for my blog and it worked perfectly fine but then I changed it to see if another background worked and ever since then my blog has been annoying me and my background doesn't show up. Here'e the problem. Whenever I put the CSS code for my background in the HTML gadget in layout the background still won't come up. It works when I put a background that I downloaded but not mine. The code's not wrong because I managed to make it work a few days ago and it looked fine... PLEASE HELP if you know how to fix this!! I don't like my blog looking so blank :'(<br />
<br />
2. I found out how to make backgrounds for blogs (as you may have noticed in the first paragraph) and am planning to make more and give them away for free! I'm going to make a new page called Freebies where you'll be able to download my backgrounds on your very own blog! This will probably come out when I fix my background problem which may or may not take a lot of time... Also, there might not be many to start off with (2 or 3 most probably) but I will be adding more over time. If any of you have any suggestions for backgrounds I could do, please leave a comment below!<br />
<br />
Here's a sneak peak at some backgrounds that will be coming out soon, I'm still editing them so that they will fit better into your blog.<br />

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You might just about claim that I am having a Harry Potter phase. For the past few weeks my main subject for my drawings have been Harry Potter characters ( most being James and Lily. They're my otp :3 ) and here I will present you a new one to add to the collection. This will also probably not be the last so YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! This time I drew Hermione and Ron because they're both so awesome and I needed to detach from the whole Jily phase ( which is a subsection of the Harry Potter phase fyi ). I also came up with a really cool caption/phrase/quote/whatever to go with it which I am super proud of! More than the actual drawing to be honest :3 So here it is:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nh5jsQVSY0g/UTEXZcg5OAI/AAAAAAAAAgc/hTpY6EkJ434/s1600/num%C3%A9risation0001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nh5jsQVSY0g/UTEXZcg5OAI/AAAAAAAAAgc/hTpY6EkJ434/s640/num%C3%A9risation0001.jpg" width="260" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><b><i><span style="font-size: small;">- Will you love me forever?<br />- Until the day I die, or worse, get expelled.</span></i></b></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The drawing looks weird because their bodies are out of proportion. I only found that out when I was halfway through drawing their clothes so I couldn't be bothered to erase everything and start again. Though there is one thing that I think I did particularly well at and that is their hands. They actually look <i>normal</i> in this picture and not like weird potatoes with awkward stems growing out of them. Also, note to all readers, I am probably going to make an edited version of this drawing soon so this <b>may </b>(understand that this is in bold to make you realize the word <b>may</b>) pop up in the near or far future. Or never because I am an obvious professional of doing nothing. Before I leave you I stumbled on this video which I think some of you may like. I laughed so hard at this by the way so you should too! ;) Bye!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Recently in my English class we started a unit on public speaking. To begin this unit our teacher introduced us '<a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">TED</a>'. I knew this before hand but I had never really payed any attention to it. What is '<a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">TED</a>' you ask? Well, let's ask <a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">TED</a>:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<blockquote class="tr_bq" style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://www.ted.com/pages/about" target="_blank"><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 21px;">" TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: </span><strong style="background-color: white; border: 0px currentColor; color: #666666; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 21px; margin: 0px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">Technology, Entertainment, Design.</strong><span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 21px;"> Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with two annual conferences -- the TED Conference on the West Coast each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Edinburgh UK each summer -- TED includes the award-winning TED Talks video site, the Open Translation Project and TED Conversations, the inspiring TED Fellows and TEDx programs, and the annual TED Prize. " </span></a></blockquote>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What I love about <a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">TED</a> is that you can find a speech in any domain you are familiar with and let yourself be convinced by these truly wonderful speeches. As you may have guessed, I am deeply enthusiastic on creativity and consider myself a creative person. Because of this trait I searched up inspiring speeches on creativity. I found two which have truly changed the way I think over a matter or minuets. The way they used their words and how I could use personal experience to connect to them made me feel understood and hopeful. Personally, I don't have the most extraordinary grades and sometimes I feel lost and hopeless. I feel like I have no chance as a successful human being in the future. But because of of <a href="http://sirkenrobinson.com/skr/" target="_blank">Ken Robinson</a>'s speech, I felt like there were other people like me, who were experiencing the same thing as me. I obviously knew that I wasn't alone in this world, my friends and family are a huge support, but I honestly felt, well, lost. He also made me realize about how our education "ruins" our creativity which had never struck me before. Through the video I started to realize more and more about how true this was and how my mind has given priority to subjects like maths which should be as equally important as arts. I know that most people who are reading this have no idea what I'm talking about so here's the link to make you a little less confused: </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity.html?utm_campaign=&utm_source=t.co&source=twitter&utm_content=addthis-custom&awesm=on.ted.com_iRNE&utm_medium=on.ted.com-twitter#.US5X7Igtqzl.twitter" target="_blank">http://www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity.html?utm_campaign=&utm_source=t.co&source=twitter&utm_content=addthis-custom&awesm=on.ted.com_iRNE&utm_medium=on.ted.com-twitter#.US5X7Igtqzl.twitter</a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The second video I watched has probably changed my mind forever because unconsciously I have begun to experience everything <a href="http://www.elizabethgilbert.com/" target="_blank">Elizabeth Gilbert</a> said. If you don't know who Elizabeth Gilbert is, (I didn't know who she was before watching this video honestly) she is the author of the very popular book '<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eat,_Pray,_Love#Reviews" target="_blank">Eat, Pray, Love</a>'. She covers many points in her speech but the one that stuck to me most, was when she told the story of an 80 year old poet and how she explained inspiration. The way she explains it is exactly what I feel. I occasionally get this rush, this excitement, and I need to put it down on paper before it's too late. If it's a phrase, a quote, a drawing, an idea; it will only last seconds and I must put it down. I would have never been able to explain this feeling myself, and I was overjoyed that somebody, somewhere, who is like me, has. So, once more, you're probably going "I haven't the blindest idea of what she is talking about. John (because in my mind you're a woman at her computer married to a wonderful man named John. May you have a happy life together) , I think she's gone mad." So to once more, stop all of this confusion, watch this video and reread the paragraph. It will make more sense after. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<a href="http://www.ted.com/talks/elizabeth_gilbert_on_genius.html?utm_campaign=&utm_source=t.co&source=twitter&utm_content=addthis-custom&awesm=on.ted.com_hRT6&utm_medium=on.ted.com-twitter#.US5YFq6F9u4.twitter" target="_blank">http://www.ted.com/talks/elizabeth_gilbert_on_genius.html?utm_campaign=&utm_source=t.co&source=twitter&utm_content=addthis-custom&awesm=on.ted.com_hRT6&utm_medium=on.ted.com-twitter#.US5YFq6F9u4.twitter</a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, I hope after watching these you will feel... different, or have a different perspective of things. I would love it if you could comment below so we can have a friendly conversation on this because I feel like I need to talk to people who are like me and understand what I go through. I would also love if you shared other videos that you watched on <a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">TED</a> or anywhere else which have changed you in some way. It doesn't have to have <i>anything</i> related to creativity, art, etc. It can be about science, maths, dance, politics, whatever. I would like to make this post a place where people can connect and talk about these things. This post is also getting very mushy feely (had to find a word that rhymed with mushy and meant feelings at the same time...) so I'm going to wrap it up. If you want to visit the <a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">TED</a> homepage/website click on any <a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">TED</a> word you see in this paragraph or just click on this link: <a href="http://www.ted.com/" target="_blank">http://www.ted.com/</a> </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Once more I hope that one of these speeches will inspire you as they have for me and that you will enjoy them :) Bye!<br />
<br />

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I finally made the header that I wanted! I've been thinking about it for ages but never actually bothered to do it... but today I did! So let's rejoice by sitting around a table and eating cupcakes while listening to a dolphin playing the lute with its tongue... ew. But still, I do think we should have a celebration on the fact that I actually <i>did </i>something today. Also, I would like to show you the drawing of me that I made for the header. I'm quite proud of it :3</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
FINALLY, I'm free! Now that my Christmas post is <b>done</b> I can finally keep you guys up to date on all the stuff that has been happening lately. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, where to start? Ah! I know! *looks creepily at computer screen as if she was to murder it... happily... this is getting confusing...*</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So (I didn't have any other word to start with, sorry for the repetition) last year during Christmas (uh oh) of 2011, I got a drawing pad that connects to the computer so that you can draw awesome stuff. I loved it, I mean, <span style="font-size: large;"><b>LOVED</b></span> it and used it all the time. Unfortunately I quickly got bored of it because I didn't have any good programs on my computer <i>and </i>it was quite challenging to draw on it... BUT recently I discovered an artist named viria13 (here's the link: <a href="http://viria13.deviantart.com/" target="_blank">http://viria13.deviantart.com/</a> ) who does INCREDIBLE fan art (mostly Harry Potter!!! yay!!!) and is all together an INCREDIBLE artist. I grew very fond of her drawings especially because they're the type of drawings I want/do (though they are not as good). I also learnt a lot from her sketchy tutorials which led me to discover a program that I could download on my computer as a free trial. It. Was. Perfect. It's smooth and clear and easy to use (bit of a poet with my rhymes there). I made numerous drawings on it (most being unsuccessful) and improved my ability to draw on the computer (though I have realized that I prefer using paper. Its more... real... if that makes any sense to you...). Though my drawings look a little sketchy and not as detailed as the ones I'v done on paper, I am, overall, very proud of myself. I learnt a bit more on shading and pleats in clothes (though those skills are still in development) and I could FINALLY put a bit of color in my drawings (fun fact: coloring with pencils/pens/crayons/anything else that can be used to color is MY WORST NIGHTMARE. I hate it. Just hate it. I will usually ask a friend to do it for me. Or just not do it at all. Which is most of the time.) So I think after reading all of this you might want to see these drawings well you can't. Nah I'm just teasing (aren't I just hilarious?), here are the masterpieces.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">My Best friend and I<br />
(This one was actually made on a photoshop on a school computer before I found the magic program but I didn't feel like explaining it in the paragraph. So... yeah)</td></tr>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">These are actually the same people as the third digital picture. I called them Peter and Penelope :) I am thinking about doing a sort of mini series on them with drawings. It would add something to look forward to and would make me progress in my skillzzzz. Tell me what you guys think about it!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I still have some drawings that I made but I haven't scanned them yet so... yeah... that shall be a plan for the future. Also, if you're wondering about all the kissing, I watched a tutorial on how to draw a kissing couple thingy and I needed practice so voila. Here's the tutorial, Mark Crilley (the artist) is GREAT at drawing and SO useful!!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/cpk5n3xWJ-A?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br />
AND if you're also wondering about why we have hooves at the end of our arms in the drawing of me and my friend, if you watch 'My Little Pony' then you will know there is a population of people called "Bronys". Even though we're not male we still consider ourselves Bronys AND THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Seriously, My Little Pony (the new one, not the old ones) is actually not that bad. It's obviously made for little girls but it isn't as kiddy as you think it might be. Call me crazy or whatever but trust me, if you haven't at least watched one episode, you're missing on something <b><span style="font-size: large;">BIG</span></b>. Here's one of the episodes to get ya going:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/N5g0uWEC83E?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br /></div>
<br />
My favorite characters are Applejack and Rainbow Dash FYI.<br />
<br />
Also, to get back to the drawing, we call each other Sosh and Natty which explains the T-Shirts. I'm Natty before any of you ask.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I think I pretty much covered everything.... I hope you guys had a nice holiday or you're just having a nice life in general :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
See ya!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
P.S: ONE MORE THING, my friend Athena (from the post <a href="http://natsdaydream.blogspot.be/2012/11/accordion-athena.html" target="_blank">Accordion Athena</a>)just made a blog and since I'm her friend and a nice person and because I want to, here's the link to it: <a href="http://athenasblahblah.blogspot.be/" target="_blank">http://athenasblahblah.blogspot.be/</a> . It would also be nice and friendly of you to check it out :) Who knows, maybe the Loch ness monster is hiding in there!<br />
<br />
P.P.S: (sorry, this is like the third time I'm editing this post) I also have a Deviant art account so if any of you guys are on there go add me :3 I post the same things on this blog though so if you don't add me you won't be missing out on anything. Just wanted to let you guys know. Here it is: <a href="http://fetnat.deviantart.com/" target="_blank">http://fetnat.deviantart.com/</a><br />
<br />
And to make a little free advertisement, Deviant art is a great website for any kind of creative person. Writing, drawing, painting, designer, whatever it is, it's a great community and website to join :)</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I am finally going to write this post that I think a lot of you have been waiting for... I know, it's already 2013... I'M SORRY! I'm horrible at staying on schedule. I think I should add that as one of my resolutions... I am also a huge procrastinator... ANYWAY here it is:<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>22nd of December - Prep Day</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Daaaaaah!!! Everything is so hectic in this house that you would think you're running a marathon!! Neither of us have eaten a proper meal in the last three days because my Dad doesn't want us eating the ingredients in the fridge and my Mum has been running all around the house vacuuming each room at least five times per day! I feel like I'm not doing anything at all because </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A) My Dad gave me the lovely job of decorating the house ( I looooooved this idea ) but over the week he has forbidden me to decorate certain places of the house before the whole house was off limits to me decorating. That really annoyed me. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
B) My Dad (once again) doesn't want help in cooking because ( in his mind ) I m an immature child who throws food and cuts myself every time I am a meter away from a blunt knife. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
C) I can't just sit down and relax because I am immediately told off by my parents that I'm not doing anything and </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
D) Every time I try and help my parents tell me to do something else and get out of their way. It's hard being a teenager. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, enough of me whining, let's get back on track. I finally found something to do which was making the first batch of Christmas cookies! With my Mum we decided to make some sugary shortbread biscuits in my brand new gingerbread men mold that I had bought at the Christmas market a few days back. The recipe came from a small book containing recipe's that only had "La Vache Qui Rit" in them. Unfortunately we only had Emmental flavored Vache Qui Rit in our fridge ( *face palm* ) so it added an... interesting flavor. We also added some speculoos crumbs into our biscuits to try and hide the Emmental flavor... When the mixture was done, I hastily stuffed the mold and put it n the freezer so that it could set. I was now, once more, left with nothing to do. I ended up watching TV until the cookies were ready and I dropped all of them and they ALL broke *sad face*. So that's pretty much what happened that day. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>23rd of December - The journey begins! </b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the 23rd my Grandma arrived alone just before lunch and we almost immediately went out to lunch all together to the very refined french restaurant just up the road. We all ordered mussels and fries with alternate sauces and the adults then took a small coffee. When we arrived home we sat and chatted and ate some delicious holiday chocolates (mmm! This time of ear is when they taste the best!). Time passed a bit too quickly and we all realized that it was near the end of the day and there were still presents to be wrapped and cookies to be baked! We immediately took action and started with the cookies. It was exactly the same recipe (yippee, <i>more</i> cheddar tasting cookies) except we had the help of my grandma. Which helped. A LOT. But anyway, while the cookies were cooking we did some speed wrapping and ribbon tying. I would say that out of ten our efficiency and speed put together were a nine and a half. It was as if an elf had come in and wrapped our presents (because everybody knows that elves are amazing at wrapping presents). The cookies were ready and I had the right mind to ask somebody else to take the cookies out of the oven and obviously they didn't drop it (I'm such a clutz). By the end of all that we were all pretty tired (except my Dad who spent his time quietly reading his book. *face palm*) and didn't wait long to go to bed</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>24th of December - HO HO HO and a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><br /></b>Before they arrived in the morning (which was at 11:00 am FYI) my grandma and I made a second quick batch of cookies so that there would be one each for each person. Luckily we finished them right before they (if you don't know who they are, scroll down and read 'Coming up...' ) arrived (by five minuets no kidding!) and it FINALLY felt like Christmas! I also found out the the unknown girlfriend is called Nada and she is from Thailand but lived in California most of her life and speaks mostly English but also knows some french (enough to communicate with others). She also has a talent for drawing which obviously pleased me. I shared my drawings with her and she commented on them and I was so happy!!! BUT let's get back to where we were, so my cousins overloaded me with their stories and adventures. Thao showed me a great drawing that he made on the train (I'm so proud!) and Thuan just kept talking about anything and everything. You can pretty much have a whole conversation with him if you nod occasionally and do "aaah" and "oooh" noises when it sounds like the end of the sentence. While my Dad was preparing lunch Nada and I decorated the cookies (unfortunately the second batch burnt a little so that looked like they had a good month under the sun) with various icing and decorations. We had an absolutely HUGE goose for lunch which we barely finished but did in the end thank to Pierre Axel who became our human trash can. The rest of the afternoon was slow and lazy (except for the two little ones who were somehow strong enough to carry the weight of their bellies). My Dad bought for the occasion a box of chocolates that was ameter long and about ten centimeters wide from this famous chocolate shop which I can't remember the name of... but we tried them out during our lazy period (we somehow found space deep inside our stomachs to store it) and oh my word they were AMAZING!!! Truly amazing. When it started to get dark Pierre Axel, Nada, Thao, Thuan and I went in the garden to light some candles. This was so that Santa could see our garden and know where we were. It was also to help land his sled since it's not always easy finding a parking spot on roof tops. It took several tries (about twenty I would guess) to get all four of them to stay alight all at the same time. The problem was that when we would start heading back to the house, one of them would just die and we would have to go all the way back and try to light it again. Finally we managed to light all of them (at least long enough for us to go back to the house) and convince Thuan that Santa had called Pierre Axel to tell him that he saw the lights and had saved the address on his GPS. Soon enough it was time for the two little ones to go to sleep after another HUGE meal and this was when things got a little more exciting. Everybody went to get their presents out of their bags and in total there was a mountain of wrapped presents waiting to be revealed! We randomly placed them under the tree which made it look stunning. I then took my Dad's crocks and made mud footprints from the garden, into the house, around the tree and back (unfortunately there was no snow so it didn't look as magical *sad face*). My Dad then wrote a note coming from Santz and placed it next to a cup of milk (half of it drank by me) half a cookie and some carrots that have been bitten out of (some were thrown into the garden so it looked more realistic). After that, everything was done and I was anxious to get into my bed and see the faces of my cousins the next morning.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
25th of December - Presents!!!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Presents!!!!! Lots and Lots of presents!!!! Obviously my cousins were the first ones to find them and ran furiously around the house waking everybody up. When we were all downstairs and somewhat awake ( which I was not ) my cousins opened their presents BUT I must share with you that right before they opened them, Thuan said the most adorable thing which became the highlight of my Christmas. When he saw the santa hat trapped between the door he said " at least this time he left us a clue! " IT WAS SO ADORABLE I felt like I was going to melt into a pond of purple goo :3 But now to continue the story. My cousins opened their presents first while the others watched and obviously loved every single present they got (expecially mine because.... well, it is me! ;) I got Thao a StarWars Lego alorm clock if you must know, here's a pic: )</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hey guys, I am back from the future and do not want to finish this post (it's the 21st of Febuary and I started this post before Christmas... WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LIFE?!?) and so I am now going to make a very short list of bullet points so that this post is OVER WITH.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<ul>
<li>Went to plaisirs d'Hiver</li>
<li>Went inside the Ice Monster - Thao and Thuan ran ahead before running back screaming and hiding behind Celine</li>
<li>Went to see Ernest et Celestine (great movie for any kids!!)</li>
<li>When going through two buildings the wind was so strong that Thuan "flew" into me</li>
<li>Another cute quote from Thuan "Olivier looks hard and scary on the outside, but I know in the inside he's a nice person" Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! Too cute!!!</li>
<li>Pierre Axel got sick on the last day with Diarrhea and vomiting (yuck!)</li>
</ul>
</div>
<br />
So FINALLY this post is done! Sorry for the lack of detail at the end but this just HAD to be finished! Phew, I feel lighter all of a sudden. I am just going to fly away and leave this pit hole of a post once and for all! Ciao!<br />

Hey guys...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For all of you who read my last post, I KNOW, I lied, I'm sorry... I was supposed to make a post everyday until Thursday but I got busy... and tired... is that a good excuse? Let me explain, when they all arrived my cousins kidnapped me and tortured me with their eternal cuteness and games. When I wasn't playing with them I was busy eating chocolates and spending some quality time with my family which I don't see very often. And of course, since it's Christmas, I stayed up very very VERY late every night spending even more quality time with my family. So when I finally went to bed, I actually <i>went</i> to sleep (how could I?) because I was dead tired. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So there. You are now allowed to judge me. Please don't be too harsh... <span style="font-size: x-small;"> please... </span><span style="font-size: xx-small;">don't look at me like that... It wasn't my fault!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So after all that judging you need to do, you might want to know what is going to happen next. To make it up to all of you I am going to do a somewhat brief summary of all four days in one post. If that's not good enough then... you creep me out... </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway here are my last words before I start writing my Christmas post which I have the feeling is going to be very very very very long... daaaah, I don't feel like writing it. meh. So, for all of you who still think I'm not a huge disgrace to society, wish me good luck. I shall be needing it.<br />
<br />
Oh, one last note, I made a twitter account for all of you twitter people who like to tweet things. Here is my user: @natsdaydream<br />
<br />
OK, now, bye.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
P.S: sorry!</div>

Hi there!!!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Happy that all of you are still alive after the tragic death of the earth we have experienced on the 21st of December 2012. May there be a minute of silence in respect of the earth and all of the wonderful things it's done for us over thousands of millions of years. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now putting that aside I would like to give you a quick update on what is to come. Over the next four days my parents and I will be receiving our family for Christmas. We're going to be ten people in our house and this is not one event I want to be forgotten as the years pass. So to keep the memory alive, I'm going to write a new post everyday about everything that has happened. This may or may not be very interesting depending on what will or will not happen over the next four days. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So that everything is clear, here is the list of people contributing to this event:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>Me (Obviously, and no, my name is not obviously. ... obviously)</li>
<li>Mum (Valentine)</li>
<li>Dad (Olivier)</li>
<li>Half cousin number one (Thao who is half Vietnamese, nine years old and incredibly cute)</li>
<li>Half cousin number two (Thuan who is half Vietnamese, six years old, still believes in Santa and is also incredibly cute</li>
<li>Half aunt (Celine who is the Mum of my cousins and the half sister of my Dad. She has the same Dad but not the same Mum)</li>
<li>Grandma (Eliane but I call her Babouchka and she is the Mum of my Mum)</li>
<li>Half aunt's Mum (Genevieve)</li>
<li>Half aunt's half brother (Pierre Axel. I know this is getting confusing but stay with me. He has the same Mum as my half aunt but not the same Dad so I'm not related to him)</li>
<li>Half aunt's half brother's girlfriend (Currently her name is unknown and so is her nationality...)</li>
</ol>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I hope this wasn't too confusing (I know that I'm lifting my hopes up for no reason) but I thought it would be less confusing to tell you now instead of trying to explain it in the middle of the next posts... please leave a comment if you're still confused! I will be happy to help :) Unfortunately I can't post any pictures of them because 1. I either don't have pictures of them or have some but are not very recent and 2. because I am not allowed to post pictures of people. Personally, I think those are two pretty good reasons not to post pictures.</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There you go, a somewhat quick update on what is coming up. Oh, and by the way (BTW for all you cool kids) tomorrow there will be two posts, one on our hasty preparations before everyone arrives/arrived (if you are reading this in the future which you probably are) and a post on the first day. </div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
ttfn :)</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Suit up! OK, that was a really bad entrance but it was gonna be awkward otherwise... Anyway, a few weeks ago it was my friends birthday. Actually, it was two of my friends birthdays! So, for their birthday (this is like the third time i'm saying birthday in only three sentences...) I made them T Shirts! And they arrived today! (I know, I'm really late on the present giving thing but I did give them a small one before hand to wait! Check out my post called Movember if you want to know what it is!) I know this may not sound like the most amazing idea ever but if you're ever hesitating or don't know what to get for your friend/family member/annoying person who demands a present from you, a personalized T Shirt is a really great idea! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You can do this in a few ways, you can:</div>
<br />
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Draw on a light colored T Shirt with special pens made to draw on fabric (these are usually found in toy shops for little kids. At least that's where I found mine...)</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">You can iron a picture on a blank T Shirt (I've never done it but my friend has... I would deeply recommend looking it up on the internet... mostly for security reasons and if you ever want to see that picture ever again.)</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Or you can send it to a company where they print out your own personalized T Shirt. If you live in the US or Canada, there's this great side called <a href="http://www.customink.com/">http://www.customink.com/</a> where you can design sweaters, pants, hats, shirts, water bottles, anything! And they have a wide range of fonts and pictures you can use (in addition to your own). For people who live in other countries (like me), I went to a near by printer shop where they will gladly print your picture to a T Shirt. If that doesn't work you can use a little website I like to call Google!</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div>
So, as you may have guessed, I used the third option for my friends though in the past I would amuse myself with drawing pretty pictures on white shirts (if you have kids, this is a great activity to do at home!)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here are the pictures of the finished shirts that I make for my friends Jiwon and Lea.<br />
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You can really be creative when you make these shirts for your friends/family/annoying person who demands a present from you! You can put a friendly message, an inside joke, a picture of their favorite band, anything! Another fun thing to do is to add a few "accessories" to it. Sew on buttons, ribbons, some fancy lace on the sleeves (this is more of a girly thing boys unless you really enjoy frilly ribbons on your shirts) anything to make it personal! If you want a more trashy look you can rip the sleeves or add something more rebellious... I don't know what that would be, that's why I put three little dots. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
...</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Bye!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
P.S: For all of you who desire to see my shirt in action (which means being worn) then please go to my my friend's - Jiwon - Blog! Click on the <a href="http://g14life.blogspot.be/2012/12/tuesdayy-111212.html" target="_blank">MUSTACHIO</a> (by mustachio I mean the word.... but not this one, the one before that). For all of you who are following my blog (thanks!!!) then you will have already found a link to her blog earlier on.... and now for the final word: Bye.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Winter is finally here! Yay!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I woke up this morning to find the scenery coated with a thick layer of snow. This made me overly excited and anxious to kick some butt with a snowball fight except for one small detail... I woke up with a fever of 39 degrees (Celsius because last time I checked, I was European) and a huge headache.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What kind of person is sick on a snow day? Not me! At least that's what I <i>thought</i> but I was betrayed by... my body? I don't know... But still, I could be running around in my garden making failed snow angels (though they still look pretty to my eyes), bringing to life my half melted snow man or sledging down a half a meter hill. As dumb as it sounds, I still want to do all of those things. But, unfortunately, my body is warm enough to melt all the snow off our car (that, my friend, is <i>a lot</i> of snow!) in an instant and... I seem to be a little over attached to my bed... But, who isn't?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, so now I am going to make a list of the pros and cons about winter. Here it goes:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Pros:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Snow Men</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Snow Women</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Snow Children (the list goes on...)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Snow Angels (snow devils?)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Snow ball fights (my personal favorite!)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Hot Chocolate drowned in Whipped Cream</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Thick Socks</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Snow!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Ice Skating</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Ice Fishing (didn't think of that one did you!)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Christmas! (or any other holiday you celebrate depending on your religion!)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">The beautiful scenery</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">The Warm Fire Place</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Holiday lights!</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">First Snow</li>
</ul>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Cons:</div>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Wet feet</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Colds (way too many of those!)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Frostbite</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Runny Nose</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Fever (I am obviously not having a good time with <i>that</i>!)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Nostalgia of the summer</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">A lot of sneezing</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Not attaining your New Years resolutions (you have to be a beast to be able to complete <i>all</i> of them! If you did though, well done!)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Annoying Christmas adverts on TV</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Dirty snow on the Streets</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Short Days or Long Nights</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Bruises from Ice Skating (Though usually they're worth it!)</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">No Pretty Flowers :'(</li>
</ul>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So there is my list of pros and cons for the winter though I do love the winter... a lot! But like every other season, it has its down sides. I hope winter doesn't feel offended... I didn't mean to hurt you winter!</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, while I fix winter's feelings, here are some pictures of the snow that I took. I wanted them to look something like this:</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.divineancestry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/winter-spiritual.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="http://www.divineancestry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/winter-spiritual.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
But my camera is incapable of taking nice pictures so they ended up like this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W858yOikFbw/UMIOVCvwsoI/AAAAAAAAAYs/a1RTnShm3LM/s1600/DSC07063.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W858yOikFbw/UMIOVCvwsoI/AAAAAAAAAYs/a1RTnShm3LM/s400/DSC07063.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And I just found out that all the others are blurry... Well, I at least hope you enjoyed this beautiful picture that I took (I am being sarcastic, please don't freak out) and that you have a lovely winter! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Oh, and just before you leave, I would like to annoy you with the video of my favorite winter song! Bye!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/M-b3iU-INDo?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
